Depending on a client's needs, recommendations may be informed by qEEG findings, targeted brain mapping, and data collected throughout the training process. This allows each protocol to be tailored to the individual's unique brain patterns and goals.
During the assessment, a technician places a cap or sensors on your scalp. These sensors do not send electricity into the brain—they simply measure the brain's natural electrical activity. Most assessments involve sitting comfortably with your eyes open and closed for short periods while brainwave data is collected.
The recording typically takes about 10–30 minutes, depending on the assessment protocol. Once collected, the data is processed and analyzed to identify patterns of brain activity across different regions of the brain.

2) You complete neurofeedback sessions from home using equipment that is shipped directly to you. During each session, sensors placed on your head measure your brain’s activity in real time while you watch videos of your choice, play a game, or listen to music. As your brain produces the targeted patterns being trained, the system provides feedback that helps reinforce more efficient and regulated patterns of brain activity over time.
Before you begin training, we provide full guidance on how to set up and complete your neurofeedback sessions. You are also trained on strategies to help you maximize and optimize your training experience so you can get the most out of each session.
3. Optimize
Throughout your program, your progress is continuously monitored by BCIA-certified specialists who review training data and assess how your brain is responding over time. When appropriate, additional brain mapping assessments may be used to track progress and guide the development of updated, individualized training protocols.
As changes develop, your protocol is adjusted to ensure training remains appropriately challenging and aligned with your goals. New or refined protocols may be introduced to further support progress or address additional areas of focus, allowing training to build in layers over time.
